Destiny 2 players have a lot to look forward to this week, as Xur is back with a new selection of exotic items. Xur is a mysterious vendor who appears in the game each week, bringing with him a selection of exotic weapons and armor. This week, Xur can be found on Io, near the Giant’s Scar landing zone.

Xur’s exotic weapon this week is The Prospector, an arc grenade launcher that can be used to great effect in PvE and PvP. The Prospector has a unique perk called Excavation, which causes the grenade launcher to fire a volley of tracking grenades that seek out enemies. This makes it great for taking out groups of enemies quickly and efficiently.

Xur also has a selection of exotic armor pieces for sale this week. For Titans, there’s the Actium War Rig chest armor, which increases the duration of Auto Rifle ammo and reserves. For Warlocks, there’s the Eye of Another World helmet, which increases the duration of Rift abilities. Finally, for Hunters, there’s the Lucky Raspberry chest armor, which increases the duration of Arc Bolt Grenade and grants bonus Super energy on grenade hits.

In addition to these exotic items, Xur is also selling a Fated Engram, which guarantees an exotic item from Year 2 of Destiny 2 that you don’t already own. He’s also selling the Five of Swords challenge card, which allows you to set modifiers for Nightfall strikes.
