The beloved Metal Gear Solid franchise is set to make a return with the upcoming release of the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1. This collection will include the first three Metal Gear Solid titles, as well as the spin-off titles, Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions and Metal Gear Solid: Integral.

The original Metal Gear Solid was released in 1998 and was one of the first games to feature stealth-based gameplay.
