First Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania Trailer And Poster Have Arrived
Marvel teased Monday morning that “tiny” things are coming and they delivered with both the Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania teaser poster and first trailer. This will be the third Ant-Man movie in the franchise and introduces Scott Lang’s (Paul Rudd) daughter Cassie (Big Little Lies’ Kathryn Newton) as Stature.
The first poster is rather effective showing Kang the Conquerer (Jonathan Majors) holding the miniature family on his fingertips, looking down at them. We first saw Majors in the Kang costume during Comic-Con weekend as a teaser poster containing concept art was shown.
The first trailer shows Scott’s life after the events of Avengers: Endgame as he was still working at a Baskin-Robbins ice cream shop, but also a somewhat celebrity, even if he does get confused with Spider-Man. The trailer also shows the wonders and outrageous design of the Quantum Realm where we find a whole civilization, seemingly led by an unnamed character portrayed by Bill Murray. There’s also, of course, the presence of Kang the Conquerer. Check it out below.
Majors was cast as Kang in late 2020 and has had a meteoric rise, even soon starring opposite Michael B. Jordan in Creed III. Kang’s arrival was teased at the end of Season 1 of Loki where Majors also played He Who Remains, the last of the Time-Keepers. After he was killed, Loki seemingly returned to his timeline but instead found large statues of Kang placed all around.
Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lily, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton, Jonathan Majors, and Bill Murray.
It will be arriving in theaters on February 17, 2023.
