HBO’s The Last of Us Reveals New Character Posters

HBO’s The Last of Us TV series is almost here, and the network has released a series of character posters to get fans further pumped. The show will debut January 15.

In the posters you can see below, we’re treated to seeing Nick Offerman as Bill, Nico Parker as Sarah, Storm Reid as Riley, Lamar Johnson as Henry, and Murray Bartlett as Frank. These supporting roles help fill out the cast that is headlined by Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie.

Last month, HBO released both a teaser trailer and an additional clip with new footage. Both clips showcase the all-important relationship between the two lead characters, and give us a taste of how the video game’s tense and action-packed moments play out on film. Neil Druckmann, who directed the original game, is one of the show’s creative leads, alongside Craig Mazin, best known for 2019 HBO limited series Chernobyl.

You can also check out our breakdown of the show’s trailer, and–if you really want to dig deep–watch our video explaining the complete Last of Us timeline. The Last of Us franchise spans two games and also a tie-in comic.
