This news comes from a recent report from Bloomberg, which claims that the proposal was presented to Bethesda Softworks, the publisher of the Elder Scrolls series.

The proposal reportedly includes a “single-player, story-driven” game set in the Elder Scrolls universe. It would also feature a “modernized” version of the classic Fallout: New Vegas engine, which would allow for more detailed graphics and a more immersive experience. The game would also include a “vast” open world, similar to the one featured in Fallout: New Vegas.

Obsidian Entertainment is no stranger to developing games set in the Elder Scrolls universe.
