The Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special Teases Kevin Bacon’s MCU Debut

The first trailer for the Guardians of the Galaxy holiday special has arrived, and it looks great. The setup is that Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) is very sad about Gamora (Zoe Saldana) being gone so the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy fly together to Earth to help find him a gift to cheer him up.

That gift? Kevin Bacon. Drax (Dave Bautista) and Mantis (Pom Klementieff) show up at the actor’s door, and when he doesn’t open, Drax breaks through the glass and attempt to kidnap Bacon as a Christmas present for Star-Lord. Check out the wacky trailer below.

The holiday special also stars Nebula (Karen Gillan), Kraglin (Sean Gunn), Rocket (Bradley Cooper), and Groot (Vin Diesel). The dog Cosmo also appears in the special, which comes to Disney+ on November 25.

James Gunn, who directed all the first two Guardians movie, wrote and directed the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday special. Gunn is also coming back to write and direct 2023’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

In other Marvel news, the movie studio just released the first trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The film brings back the original cast, including Paul Rudd, and introduces Jonathan Majors as Kang.
